Evil comes furtively, hiding behind normal faces,
Sheltered midst the crowd in usual places, Waiting to strike. Evil strikes suddenly, breeding and nurturing fear, Wrecking peace, threatening all that we hold dear, Bold in attack. My Lord calls me to rest beneath His sheltering wings, To wait, to know the sweet comfort that He brings, Secure in His peace Till He sends me to fight, as He wills, the evil foe. Equipped with faith, in His mighty Name I go, From terror set free. |
