In awe, I view this vision of color.
As the light fades into dusk,
I lift my heart to thank the Master Artist,
For He has blended the elements of His creation---
Setting sun,
Slanting rays of light,
Shifting shadows,
Gathering clouds,
Changing microscopic atmospheric particles,
To create a backdrop
For these leafing trees behind my house.
Flawlessly, He has painted this living landscape
Just for me
To touch my heart with the beauty of His work---
Because He loves me.
