QUESTIONS AND THE ANSWER

line

Since time began, philosophers have questioned life on earth,
"Why does man exist here, and what is his life worth?"
Caught up in their questioning, they overlook God’s plan;
They disregard His gift of life and His designing Hand.

What is life? Is it just a mystery?
Was this earth formed by chance? How did it come to be?
What is life? Will the questions never cease?
Will the thinkers never find the answer they call peace?

Life is a vital entity meant by our Lord to be
Guided by His perfect plan and lived abundantly.
But many seek for wealth and fame and follow dreams of gold,
And barter life’s most precious gift, freedom of the soul.

The world’s promised jewels are not diamonds, only paste,
Just momentary promises fulfilled by needless waste
Of thrills and intense pleasure hunts ‘til all the light is gone,
Until the heart is broken, forsaken and alone.

Who gives life? Who bestows the gift of peace?
Who’s the One Who can make all questions cease?
Who is the Answer? Who has the power to heal
The pain, the misery, and the confusion that we feel?

Life’s Answer is Jesus; there’s healing in His Name.
Those who put their trust in Him will never be the same.
For God’s love is a jewel, a pearl so rare and fine,
Not just an empty promise, but lasting peace of mind.

Christ gives life. He bestows the gift of peace.
He’s the One Who can make all questions cease.
He’s the Answer. He has the power to heal
The pain, the misery, and the confusion that we feel.
