Safe within her chamber, she slept in peace;
Free from fear of danger, she knew sweet rest. Soon would come the moment of her release, The gift of freedom to pursue her quest. She would seek to fulfill her destiny. The guard of her chamber should be her guide And teach her how to live in liberty. This one she trusted should be on her side. Then, no! This forced exit could not be right; The one who grabbed her feet was not her friend. A stabbing in her neck quenched all the light. Her trusted chamber guard approved this end.
