Why I follow Jesus Christ.
How can I make you see
His love and mercy?
I want you to understand
Just Who He is to me.
In Him my soul finds
Love not hate,
Forgiveness not condemnation,
Hope not despair,
A solution not a problem,
A haven not a prison,
Freedom not bondage,
Help not hindrance,
Peace not turmoil,
Joy not sorrow,
Life not death.
To me, He is life's
Sweet hope of peace secured by
His blood-bought victory.
